Gymkhana FC

Gymkhana Football Club is a semi-professional Singaporean football club founded in 2002 and is affiliated to the Football Association of Singapore (FAS). They won the National Football League (NFL) Division Two, a third tier of the Singapore football league system, in 2017.

In 2017, Gymkhana FC won the NFL Division Two title and will be promoted to NFL Division One for the next season.

However, Gymkhana FC made the new for the wrong reasons. On 21 October 2018, a referee was allegedly hit in the face by their player Jufri Hassan after being sent off in the match against Katong FC. The player received a life ban from the FAS.

Gymkhana FC was later expelled from the NFL in December 2018 as they were unable to field 11 players at the point of kick-off on three separate occasions in the course of the competition.

Gymkhana FC returns to football in 2019 when they participated in Singapore Island Wide League (IWL).

Η Gymkhana FC είναι ένας ποδοσφαιρικός σύλλογος της Σιγκαπούρης με έδρα το Kayu. Ιδρύθηκε το 1912 και συμμετέχει στην Πρέμιερ Λιγκ της Σιγκαπούρης, την κορυφαία κατηγορία του σιγκαπουριανού ποδοσφαίρου.

Το γήπεδο της ομάδας είναι το γήπεδο Jalan Besar, χωρητικότητας 6.000 θέσεων. Τα χρώματα της ομάδας είναι το κόκκινο και το άσπρο.

Η Gymkhana FC είναι ένας από τους παλαιότερους ποδοσφαιρικούς συλλόγους στη Σιγκαπούρη. Έχει κερδίσει το Πρωτάθλημα της Σιγκαπούρης δύο φορές, το 1921 και το 1923. Το 2019, κέρδισε το Κύπελλο της Σιγκαπούρης, τον δεύτερο σημαντικότερο τίτλο του σιγκαπουριανού ποδοσφαίρου.

Ο σύλλογος έχει επίσης συμμετάσχει σε διεθνείς διοργανώσεις, όπως το Κύπελλο Κυπελλούχων Ασίας και το ASEAN Club Championship.

Ο σημερινός προπονητής της ομάδας είναι ο Mohd Nizam.
